DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Currently, we are private pay only and do not accept insurance. However, your insurance company may be able to reimburse you for services depending on your plan. Payment is due on the day of your appointment.
DO YOU OFFER SCREENINGS OR PRELIMINARY CONSULTATIONS?
We offer brief phone consultations free of charge and in-person screenings for a nominal fee.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING AN EVALUATION?
Generally, two hours are allotted for a comprehensive speech-language evaluation. Shannon will perform an in-depth interview and hear your concerns. She will establish a rapport with your child within a play setting and will assess your child using a variety of testing measures. Following the evaluation, a detailed report will be written and sent to you.
HOW OFTEN WILL MY CHILD BE SEEN FOR THERAPY?
This will be determined following your child's speech-language evaluation. Typically, children are seen for individualized therapy twice per week.
WHAT TOWNS DO YOU SERVE?
We are based out of Groton, MA and offer in-home therapy in Groton, Dunstable, Westford, Pepperell, Townsend, Ayer, Shirley, Littleton and most surrounding communities. We are also available to offer services within the daycare and/or private preschool setting. Teletherapy services are another option for families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
